Summary of film Gangs of New York

Having seen his father killed in a major gang fight in New York, young Amsterdam Vallon is spirited away for his own safety. Some years later, he returns to the scene of his father's death, the Five Points district in New York. It's 1863 and lower Manhattan is run by gangs, the most powerful of which is the Natives, headed by Bill "The Butcher" Cutting. He believes that America should belong to native-born Americans and opposes the waves of immigrants, mostly Irish, entering the city. It's also the time of the Civil War and forced conscription leads to the worst riots in US history. Amid the violence and corruption, young Vallon tries to establish himself in the area and also seek revenge over his father's death. For do that he enter in the natives group and win the confidence of the head, Bill "The Butcher", he also know a girl who works for Bill, they fall in love and plan to go out, to San Francisco, during that, in the theatre, one person shoot to Bill, but Amsterdam stop him.

Differences between the story of Frankenstein the book and the film.

Well, now that we read and saw Frankestein , I'll write about the difference between the film and the book. The first difference is that In the film Victor Frankenstein arrives on something but another sledge. The second difference is that the creature kills dogs but it doens' t appears in the book.The next difference is that in the book Justin’s mother doesn't appears but she appears in the film. I found one difference about Victor's mother dieath on the illness but she died because on herr giving birth to her son, William. In the film an epidemic Colera appears. In the film Vicor's diary is a gift from his mother . In the film professor Waldman died because a killer cut her stomach with the knife and kill him. In the film, Victor knows Henry from University but both were known from childhood in the book. In the book, Justine doesn’t have a trial. Then in the book Victor's monster save a kid in a river but in the film it doesn't appears. In the film, the death of Elizabeth is different from the one that apperas in the book, in the film criature kill Elizabeth pull out his heart but in the book the monster strangled Elizabeth .To finish, in the film there is a woman monster because Victor tries to give life to Elisabeth when she dies but in the book she doesn't appears because Victor doesn't finished the creature.

Discussion essay

In the past they didn't have rules that protect students and the teacher did phisical punishments.

Now if any teacher touch any student this teacher will have problems. Today the teacher punish studentes in a different way. My oen opinion is that this punishments are corrects. On the one hand, some studentes merit the phisical punishments. On the other hand this punishmentsis well and I wouldn't change anything. Some poeple would argue that at the moment is ok but others would change the punishments.

This topic is very sensible because it depend on people but I won't change anything although the teachers aren't stricts like before. I won't put stricts rules now.

Today I do the summary that explain results of some football spanish match.

League leader Barcelona win 1-0 against one team over third-division Benidorm while Valencia won against Portugalete 4-1. Also Atletico Madrid won 1-0 against Orihuela that they returning to play on Wednesday.

In this week will play in fourth-round games. The spanish team that They will play football match are that will play in fourth-round. This team are: Valladolid against Hercules, Espanyol against Celta de Vigo, Athletic de Bilbao against Recte de Helva and Atletico Madrid against Orihuela.

The news That I will speak about the biggest triathlon in Spain.

Then biggest triathlon in Spain to hold in Barcelona on Ocotber 5 th. THe triathlon will do on Esportiu Municipal La Mar Bella on the beach. The triathlon combines swimming, cycling and running in one single race. This year will compete participating 2500 persons in the event. THe Barcelona triathlon is one of the mayor events on the Europena circuit, the European cities tri Series.
